Guidebook: Saxtead Green Post Mill
East Suffolk Post Mills were the finest of their type in the world. There has been a mill at Saxstead Green since 1287 when Framlingham was a thriving farming community. This corn mill produced flour until the First World War when it was used to grind feed for animals. It is still in working order.
