This unique art collection formed by Julius Wernher, is now displayed at Ranger's House, Blackheath. It presents an extraordinary wealth of medieval, Renaissance and later works of art, including masterpieces of international significance. Trained as a diamond dealer, Julius Wernher developed a keen eye for fine craftsmanship and materials which led him to appreciate and collect antique jewellery, ivories, sculpture, enamels, ceramics and paintings.
