An authentic, 1/24th scale representation of the red Hawker Hurricane that served in the 527 Calibration Squadron that flew from Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire in 1943. The bright red livery made the plane easier to spot in the sky. Powered by a hand-wound rubber motor, this model really flies! With a real airframe built up from precision laser-cut balsa parts and covered with lightweight model aircraft tissue, budding engineers young and old will find building and flying this kit rewarding and fun.The kit contains: Accurately printed plan, laser-cut parts, tissue, rubber motor, decal sheet, detailed instructions, plastic cockpit canopy and prop spinner, propellor and PVA wood glue.
