Morris Wandle Tapestry Cushion Cover
Classical Morris tapestry cushion from a design produced circa 1883 by Morris & Co. Named after the river which flowed past the Merton Abbey workshops in Surrey, this design was 'so entitled to honour the helpful stream', in which the cloth was washed before and after dyeing. Hand-finished in England with a luxurious British velvet back.
