Wear this magnificent brooch on the lapel of a jacket or coat, or even to hold a scarf in place. It is cast from an original Roman trumpet brooch crafted in gilded bronze dating from the 2nd century AD. Found at the site of the Roman fort of Vindolanda, just south of Hadrians Wall in Northumberland, the brooch would have originally been worn to secure a cloak at the shoulder. A beautiful accessory for both men and women, the brooch makes a lovely keepsake gift for a birthday or anniversary.Made in EnglandCast from an original Roman pendantGold-plated English pewter
